Giving up scuba diving was like burying an old friend; It was and still is tough. Initially a few big items were sold off and the rest sort of forgotten or not pushed hard to sell, thinking in the back of my mind, "maybe someone will visit and we'll go diving again". Dive Rite UW Lamp: $300 OBO
An excellent light for night dives, caverns and caves. This lamp lights up the area. The 10 W lamp can be focused during the dive to a sharp spot or wide angle beam. The light slips onto the back of the divers hand so the hand is free to do other tasks. The battery case can be snapped onto a BC "D-ring" or stored in a BC pocket.The "white light" produced is suitable for UW still or video photography. The rechargeable battery has a burn time of approximately 3 hours. The recharger is included along with a compact carrying case. Original source was Jim Calvin's dive shop; original price $600.00
Cochran Nitrox Dive Computer: $250 OBO
The computer is programable for diving with air or almost any mix of Nitrox. The easy to read display is back lit and alarms can be set various dive parameters. Cochran is the only dive computer used by US Navy diver. The memory will store over 300 dives for easy recall or downloaded onto a PC. This EMC-16 model was my replacement for a similar model that was stolen, so only has 59 dives stored (they can be erased). Spare batteries will be sold with the unit and batteries are simple to replace by the user. This unit is a "Wrist Mount", but console mounting hardware can be purchased elsewhere.
